Hetyefő - The Marcal Valley Hunting Company has set a second record for the number of bulls in its fifth season, Miklós Nagy, the head hunter, told us.
This year has perhaps paid off thanks to rainfall and the minimisation of disturbance in the area. In fact, one of the antlers of the bulls killed to date weighs 9.65 kilograms, while the one in the picture is estimated to weigh around 11 kilograms.
The huge bull bull finally failed to outsmart the hunters on the hunt
The hunters had not seen the bull before, but from the sound, the tracks and the cautious behaviour, they thought it was a serious bull. He lived on the south side of the forest at the edge of the village, and that's where he went to hunt flies that evening. He had been very skilful in luring them away until the hunting guide Antal Márkus, with a good sense, took him to a place where he managed to catch the bull that had changed its feeding place for corn.
